If you’re looking for a fridge for your garage, then you’ve come to the right place. We recently had the opportunity to review the Gladiator Garageworks Fridge, and we’re pretty shocked with our findings.

I want to begin by saying that I recommend the Gladiator Garageworks fridge and freezer for anyone that’s looking for a rugged-looking fridge and freezer for their garage. This fridge and freezer is a perfect addition to any garage.

I love that this fridge has casters so you can move it around to clean behind it and it makes rearranging your garage easy. I love the rugged look – it has a real garage design and feel to it.

I also found that there was plenty of room inside the fridge and freezer (it’s nice and deep) for beverages, extra supply or meal prep. Or if you’re like me, you order a lot of meat in bulk and appreciate the extra room in the freezer.

The foot-press is a genius idea. If you’ve ever loaded up a freezer with a pile of boxes in your hands, you’ll appreciate the ability to open the door by stepping on a plate. It’s one of those inventions that after you’ve experienced it, you wonder where it’s been all your life and how in the world did you exist without it.

Let’s get into the specifications of the Gladiator Garageworks.

Specifications

This fridge and freezer are both 17.8 cubic feet.

This would mean you can fit about 30-40 pounds of packaged product in each.

The width of the fridge and freezer are both 32.375″, the depth is 32.375″ and the height of this fridge is 72.25″.

As I mentioned above, the casters are one of the reasons I decided to invest in the Gladiator Garageworks Fridge and Freezer. The ability to wheel your freezer and fridge to clean behind it or rearrange the garage is a game-changer. It’s easy to move, and you can lock the wheels so it doesn’t move on you.

The Garageworks duo also has automatic defrost, and gives you three temperature settings.

The Garageworks fridge is Energy Star Certified. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but it’s a great feature to have. We all love saving money!

Design

One of the reasons you’d purchase the Gladiator Garageworks fridge and freezer is for its design.

It looks terrific!

Inside the fridge you’ll find heavy duty glass shelves. By the way, that’s the theme of this fridge, it’s heavy duty. The glass shelves are designed to hold eight 12-packs of cans. That’s a lot of weight – it’s about 80 pounds. The two baskets are great as well, giving you lots of options for storage.

When you first see this fridge, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. The black matte door and full hammered granite cabinet looks very garage-like. You can tell by looking at it, that it’s made for a garage.

The all-fridge and all-freezer gives you the room that you’ll need. When I decided to invest in the Gladiator Garageworks brand, I decided that the best route would be to purchase the pair. At first, I didn’t want to spend the extra money, but It didn’t take long to realize that I made a really good decision.

I purchased the pair for about $2000, and have loved them from day one. They fit right at home in my garage with their style, function, efficiently and size.

Should You Purchase the Gladiator Garageworks Fridge and Freezer?

In my opinion, they are the best fridge and freezer combo available for your garage, period.

They consistently keep my beverages cold and store my game meat and bulk purchases perfectly. The Gladiator Garageworks is garage ready which means it’s designed specifically for a garage.

I love the design of the fridge, and found that it gave me plenty of room to meet all my fridge and freezer storage needs. I learned this the hard way, not all fridges and freezers preform well in a garage.

You can spend a lot money on a solid fridge and freezer and you find out they won’t consistently keep your products cold or frozen. This is because not all fridges and freezers perform well in garages. The Gladiator Garageworks Fridge and Freezer are desired to function in your garage.

Make sure you purchase a unit that’s build specifically for a garage – and this is why I purchased the Gladiator Garageworks Fridge and Freezer. I am so happy with my purchase.

If you’re sitting on the fence with the Gladiator Garageworks set, and wonder if you should take the leap and make the purchase – I highly recommend it.
